Healthy habits involve numerous things — from being mindful about your nutrition choices and getting daily activity to managing your stress, water intake and more,  it’s important to make healthy choices with the goal of keeping them up long-term.

To help you do just that, we’ve discovered an assortment of health and wellness apps that can help you create and develop those healthy habits. The following apps are designed to keep you focused and on track while benefitting your mind and body at the same time! 5 November Apps You Can Use to Help You on Your Journey:

Gym Genius – If you’re interested in exercising/training at the gym, this app can focus your efforts and give you benchmarks for progress. You can monitor and assess your workouts by tracking your specific workouts, your intensity, number of reps, etc. As you move further into your fitness plan, Gym Genius can also refine and adjust your goals. Note: the app is only available to iPhone users or Apple devices. (Cost: $2.99)

smartphoneMapMyFitness – Whether you’re getting physical activity from walking and hiking to rock climbing and cycling, MapMyFitness tracks your activity in a way that benefits your fitness goals. The app calculates distance, speed, elevation and other features involved during your exercise and even saves routes for you to come back to next time. (Cost: Free)

Human – If you’d like your workouts to be a little more laid back, Human might be a good fit. The app tracks your physical activity throughout the day and inspires you to get at least 30 minutes of it each day. It also lets you see how you stack up against people in your city or neighborhood! Yummly – Yummly is your sidekick for healthy cooking. The app matches over one million recipes to your own lifestle – including allergies, calorie restrictions, favorite cuisines, etc. You can also add entire recipes to your grocery list and discover unique tools and tips for making your own snacks and meals. (Cost: Free)

MyNetDiary – Almost like your own personal coach for your pocket, MyNetDiary is designed to make weight-loss easier. The app helps you set realistic goals and offers tips and tools to help you get there. All you have to do is personalize your information and then log your food and exercise each day! (Cost: Free)
