January is the month of new beginnings — new goals, new ideas and new challenges! Therefore, it’s pretty safe to say that it’s also an excellent time to revamp your workout music playlist with new music to keep you active and motivated.
Music has the power to do so much for our lives, and your journey with weight and health is just one example. So, the Your Weight Matters Campaign is excited to bring you our January music playlist to inspire your goals and make them seem a little more reachable. After all, burnout can be one of our biggest challenges when it comes to exercise – and there’s no place for that in your journey towards a stronger and healthier you!

Get moving, get grooving and get motivated with some fresh new music! The playlist below offers about one hour’s worth of energetic, fun-filled music across a wide variety of genres. Use this to get you moving in the right direction!
Encourage Others by Submitting Your Own Music!
Do YOU have any music that inspires you to stay active and increases your focus on your goals? We want you to share them so other Campaign Challengers can benefit!
To help motivate others with the same music that has motivated you, simply follow these directions:
- First, build your own Spotify playlist with the songs you love and want to share. Try to include enough songs for about 45 minutes – 1 hour’s worth of listening. As a guideline, try to pick songs and albums that you believe will help uplift other Campaign Challengers during their workouts. Also, try to include music that is free of profanity and explicit language.
- Next, share your Spotify playlist by emailing the link to [email protected] We may add your music to next month’s Your Weight Matters Workout Playlist!
- If you don’t want to build and share an entire playlist, you may use the email above to submit any individual songs.
