Weight matters to different people in many different ways. For
some people, weight might matter to them because of how
they look. Maybe they want to fit into that perfect size
they’ve always dreamed of or maybe they want to build
that chiseled body. Or, maybe it’s that number on the
scale that’s been haunting them for years, but they just
can’t quite get to it. For others, weight may matter because
it’s a requirement, such as school sports or athletes who
must “weigh-in” before competing.
As you can see, there are a lot of reasons why weight
matters to people, but do you know the one reason why
it NEEDS to matter? Answer – HEALTH! Yup, that’s it. If you
said, “health,” then you are 100% correct. Weight and health go
hand-in-hand. Today, there are a variety of health concerns, such
as diabetes, hypertension, cancer and others that weight can be
attributed to or even moreover be the root cause. This is why weight
is so important in your health and this is why “YOUR WEIGHT MATTERS.”
